Right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have 14 days to withdraw from a distance contract. This page exists so you can do it here, rather than having to find a support address.

Version 1.0-draftUpdated 2026-10-01Draft — not approved
This is a draft, and it has not been reviewed by a lawyer. It describes the offer Margo intends to sell, not every detail of what the product does today — parts of it name commitments that are still being built. It has no legal approval behind it, and Margo is not on sale. It will be finished, checked and versioned before anyone can buy anything. Until then, please read it as a statement of intent.

What this is

This is a right you have, not a favour we grant, and it is separate from cancelling a subscription. The difference between the three.

The period

You may withdraw from your paid subscription without giving a reason within 14 days after the contract is concluded. The period does not begin before the legally required withdrawal information is provided. Statutory extensions of the period remain unaffected.

Digital content and digital services are treated differently

Margo is supplied as an ongoing digital service. Starting the service does not by itself end the withdrawal right. Proportionate payment for service provided before withdrawal is owed only where you expressly requested early performance, received the required information about withdrawal and proportionate payment, and all other legal conditions are met. The amount is based on the service supplied up to withdrawal relative to the full contractual service.

For digital content supplied as a one-off download, the right can be lost once supply begins, but only where you gave express prior consent and acknowledged the consequence.

Downloading the app does not by itself extinguish your right, and neither does a generic tick-box. If we ever ask you to give up this right, we will ask for it specifically, say what you are giving up, and record your acknowledgement.

How to withdraw

To withdraw, send Margo LLC a clear statement of your decision by email to help@margo.global or by post to c/o Northwest Registered Agent LLC, 8401 Mayland Dr Ste A, Richmond, VA 23294-4648, USA. You may use the model form below, but it is not mandatory. Sending your statement before the withdrawal period ends is sufficient to meet the deadline.

Paid sales have not started. The electronic withdrawal function must be completed and verified before sales to German consumers begin. Email and postal contact details are provided above.

Model withdrawal form

You may also use this wording, in any message to us:

To Margo LLC, c/o Northwest Registered Agent LLC, 8401 Mayland Dr Ste A, Richmond, VA 23294-4648, USA, help@margo.global:
I hereby give notice that I withdraw from my contract for the supply of the following service: Margo subscription.
Ordered on: ____
Name of consumer: ____
Address of consumer: ____
Date: ____

What happens then

  • We confirm receipt without delay, in text form, to the address we have for you.
  • We refund payments without undue delay and no later than 14 days after receiving your withdrawal, using the original payment method unless expressly agreed otherwise without cost to you. Any proportionate deduction must meet all the conditions described above.
  • We do not charge you a fee for withdrawing.

Where this applies

The initial paid market is the United States; Germany is planned for later. These instructions prepare the German consumer offer. Other consumers retain any mandatory rights under their applicable law. For US customers, our refund policy applies alongside applicable federal and state law; this page does not promise a general US statutory cooling-off period.

The beta application is free and does not create a paid contract. Nothing on this page can be exercised until there is a contract to withdraw from.
